Normal calcium : Your calcium level is normal. If you have continued concerns have them check ionized calcium and Parathyroid hormone PTH levels. most likely they too will be normal.

Talk w/ provider: Internet info can be great or terrible. Especially at a borderline reading in a female peri-menopausal it can be a mystery that could take time to solve. Work together w/ the provider to find the cause - it may be as simple as a Vitamin D supplement. Anyway, talk - here's more info: http://www.livestrong.com/article/268519-what-causes-high-calcium-blood-levels-in-menopausal-women/

Not really: This is a normal serum calcium. Normal is normal. If you or your doctor is concerned, repeat the test in 3-6 months. If it is unchanged, forget about it.

Labs,: have their own normal values depending on their equipment and population, calcium values are affected by Albumin levels and it is the ionized calcium that really matters

Normal: A normal calcium is a normal calcium! The serum calcium is a normal distribution in the population, and the AVERAGE value is in the 9s. It's true MOST people are in the 9s; however, there are plenty of normal folks in the mid-hi 8s and low 10s. I'm not suggesting you do this without more info, but you can have a calcium metabolic problem WITH normal serum calcium, and that can be checked with labs
