You did not give the: age of your baby. Teething generally starts at 9 months but can begin earlier. sucking, fussing and refusal to eat are basic signs that your child is uncomfortable. He could have a sore throat or other infection, a scratch in his mouth or eye that you cannot see or pain from an unseen accident. If your baby doesn't act normally soon after giving a dose of Acetaminophen then have him examined.

Fussy baby: This is early for teething and there are many things that can cause fussiness in a young baby.stay calm, soothing and loving during the fussiness is important. Talk to the pediatrician for guidance.

See doctor asap: since the child is refusing to drink formula it may be more than teething and the child can dehydrate quickly seek medical evaluation immediately.
