Yes and no: Phentermine is a weak amphetamine with a similar chemical structure, and so if the drug test, tests for amphetamine, which most do, it probably would be positive. Topamax (topiramate) is not know to test positive on any standard tests for drugs of abuse

Yes and no: phenteanine is an amphetamine and will show up on a drug test. Topomax will not show up on a standard drug test,
