No.: Healing takes time. More antibiotics is an invitation for super infections. Coughing is the "clearing" mechanism of the body to get rid of the gook produced by the infection. You can always see your dr. In followup but look for parameters - temp over 101, chills, change in the sputum, or failure to continue to improve.
