Seborrhea: This condition sounds like seborrheic dermatitis which. An be controlled with topical Hydrocortisone or antifungal creams. Unfortunately this is a recurrent problem which may go into remission with an application of Eurax (crotamiton) lotion.

Many: There are many possible causes of flaky skin and hair loss. Common ones are seborrheic dermatitis and psoriasis. See a dermatololgist for this problem.
