Unfortunately,: Unfortunately, we can't diagnose your issues over the internet. Perhaps if we had more specific information as to your description of the problem, what types of doctors you've seen and what they said, we could give you a better answer. Having said that, the only other advise I could give you would be to go to a local dental school for an evaluation.

Swelling: I would wonder if you are on an (ACE) or angiotensin-converting-enzyme inhibitor for blood pressure control. A side effect of this drug can be angioedema ( swelling) in the airway. These drugs include lisinopril, enalapril, Captopril etc. If you are taking a .....pril drug then talk to your primary care about a trial switch to another drug.
