I am on antibiotics for cellulitis in my eye lid right now. i want to go to the beach. is it safe to be in the sun with my eye a little puffy?

Be careful: Two things to be aware of. 1) is that many antibiotics can "sun sensitize" you, so that when you are out in the sun it can lead to development of skin rashes 2) you need to be careful about keeping the area of cellulitis clean, as otherwise the sea water may contaminate the infected area and make it even worse.

Yes/no: You can go to the Beach, but some antibiotics like Doxycycline are photo-sensitive and you can get a burn if in the sun while on them. It is important for you to use high strength SPF and it would be wise for you to wear a good pair of UV protecting Sun glasses as well.
