Risk of DVT: Long travel. Meaning not being able to walk for three or four hours at a stretch is risk for developing blood clots in the leg veins or a Deep Venous Thrombosis (DVT). Therefore if you must have a long journey try to take short walks in between, stay well hydrated. Of course consult with your doctor about flying in late pregnancy.
