Pain meds to reduce: the inflammation from it and supporting hte chest by taping it or using a cushion against the painful site would certainly help. Doing slow deep breathing exercises daily (5-6 times) for 3-5 minutes each time, can be helpful. The Costochondritis will run its course over 2-3 weeks or so. If not improving or getting worse, make sure you see your PCP to ensure nothing else is going on. Good Luck.
