Why not?: A light compression stocking will improve circulation up and out of the leg, reducing 'back pressure' on veins. This can help with healing, but also help with prevention of future vein dilation and problems. Why not wear them?

Wear compression: Following sclerotherapy, I recommend wearing compression hose for 48 hours. The reason for this is to keep the solution in contact with the treated veins so that these veins will dissolved. Also, the compression will help to prevent bruising and staining.
