Varied: There are many potential effects to taking Prednisone or any steroid medication. They include sweats, increased appetite, weight gain, acne, elevated blood sugar, increased frequency of urination. And others. More serious effects include raising blood pressure, causing cataracts to mature more quickly, osteoporosis and damage to bone( called osteonecrosis).
