I do not think chewing tobacco makes adverse effects of steroids worse. However, tobacco chew or other smokeless tobacco are causing a lot of health problems besides addiction such as oral cancer, pancreatic cancer, heart disease, etc.

Dr. Li is correct. Chewing tobacco is highly addictive, and an absolutely gross habit. It has been closely associated with numerous intractable cancers.
