Headaches: If the headaches just started recently, then it is doubtful they would be caused by events from 1999. See a neurologist to get your ice-pick headaches assessed and treated as they specialize in head ache management. Best wishes.

Unlikely: Unlikely from concussion in 1999, especially if you only had one, but I do agree you should be seen. Ice pick headaches could be cluster headaches. Migraines would be possible, but rare. Deep, slow breathing will help until you get in to see doctor.

Possibly: Might be due to scar or vascular healing variance. If they are frequent, should see a Neurologist for exam and likely MRI/A to be sure nothing more significant at play--can then Rx med to help prevent / reduce frequency.
