A 34-year-old female asked:

is there ant side effects to green coffee bean extract?

Limited data: Since the extract dose contain small amounts of caffeine one could suffer the same side effects that others note from caffeine intake. Additionally, the chlorogenic acid which is one of the major chemicals in the extract, may also play a laxative role(as it is found in prunes too) and lead to some diarrhea. Overall very limited data is available in this regards. Best of luck.

Chocolate fat: Cocoa beans contain approximately 50% fat. It is primarily comprised of two saturated fatty acids (palmitic and stearic acids) and one mono-unsaturated acid (oleic acid). Cocoa butter and chocolate do not raise blood cholesterol. However, when consuming milk chocolate or lower grade chocolate where a part of the total fat content comes from milk fat or various other types of fat, it's not the same.

Cooked? : Perhaps you mean when they are dry and hard, right from the field. Soy beans and derivative products such as tofu are a mainstay foodstuff for millions of people, especially in asia. They are served at local restaurants in the form of edamame, which is quite good. They have been cooked. This is no different than oats or wheat straight from the field.
