Yes: Gum should not have any problems. Just be careful not to get any caffeine added gums.

SWEETENER PROBLEM...: It is likely NOT safe for the growing baby to use chewing gum so frequently. It is not good to use regular sugar chewing gum for obvious reasons, but if you are using non-sugar, most gums have aspartame (NutraSweet). This artificial sweetener harms the baby by reducing the placenta and baby's weights and umbilical cord length--a lifeline for the baby. Have your mouth checked by your dentist.
