Some simple things: While you should seek in person care if you have severe pain, persistent fevers or great difficulty swallowing or painful swallowing, you can do some basic things at home to help. You can use warm salt water gargles to help with the throat pain. Alternatively you can use the analgesic over the counter sprays(chloraseptic spray) and/or lozenges(cephacol) to help too. Avoid alcohol beverages.
