See Your Doctor: Your 11 yr. old daughter has blisters in her armpit. Blistering rashes have numerous causes. Having them confined to her armpit is an unusual location and could be caused by local exposure to an irritant, infections, or even poison ivy through touching the area. Because rashes are difficult to diagnose without visual inspection, your daughter should see her doctor for correct diagnosis.
