Amenorrhea: Lack of periods, or infrequent periods can be caused by many things, including thyroid problems, Polycystic Ovaries, hormonal medication, pregnancy, and other. It is not normal to have infrequent menses. I recommend you see a doctor soon to determine the cause.

No periods: You have secondary amenorrhea it sounds like. You might be underweight, an overexerciser, or you could have a hormonal imbalance due to stress or some other reason. You could go to a doctor for an evaluation.
