Belly pain: This area is where your appendix is amongst other things. You need to be evaluated by a physician. Left untreated an appendicitis may result in death or serious complications. Caught early they are easily treated.

McBurney's point: Generally, this area you describe is medically known as McBurney's point and is one of the signs we look for when evaluating for appendicitis. This does not necessarily mean you have appendicitis, but if the pain increases in intensity, you develop a fever, chills, nausea, vomiting,or it hurts you to move/walk,you need to be evaluated in an ER right away.It could also be gas or intestinal discomfort.
