Lexapro (escitalopram) dose for OCD: lexapro, (escitalopram) an SSRI, is used to treat several anxiety disorders. sounds like ur doc has prescribed it for OCD (obesesive compulsive d/o),for which it is FDA approved. OCD may require hier doses of medication. However, every patient is different. There is no one best dose for every pt. The best dose for u, is the dose that u & ur doc find most effective with the fewest side effects.
