Salsalate abuse common?

What is it: Salsalate in a double salicylate compound, like Aspirin but a differnet compound. It is not addictive so I am uncertain about the term abuse. It is an antiinflamatory and analgesic. There is a problem in some with analgesic withdrawal headaches, where when persistent analgesic usage continues for a while and in some with stopping the analgesic can cause . Abuse - need a defintion-of question.

Two: salicylate molecules hooked together where the acetyl group was. No effect on bleeding or stomach irritation. Actually, when ingested it is inactive. The liver splits it into 2 salicylate molecules!
