I don't do this.: Some drs use propanolol (inderal). I do not. This med is cognitively suppressive-esp if used episodically-so it can backfire. My experience is that there are better meds& methods. Also, I do not treat the anxiety only during testing or performing. Whatever meds are used should be used routinely; otherwise, it is less effective. Plus, the patient needs to be acclimated well in advance.
