A member asked:

Have gastrocnemius contracture(silfverskiold test) causing equinus, from deep posterior cs(stryker test). fasciotomy or recession of gastroc to treat?

You probably already: had the Fasciotomy and now you most likely need other surgical procedures, which would depend upon being examined first. I would suggest to see a Foot/Ankle Specialist in your area, and discuss it with him. Remember you might not get a full recovery of the equinus or the nerve function. Good luck.

BE CAREFUL: At first glance, the doctor may thing a 'simple' lengthening will help. But, being s/p compartment syndrome, there is scarring; extensive releases in the leg may be needed. See an orthopedist trained in foot/ankle.
