Likely okay: If you're 33 weeks and the pregnancy has been progressing normally, likely everything is okay. When the baby is born, the pediatrician will need to know about the exposure and will evaluate the baby then.

Hard to say: "Pills" is not very specific as to what the baby was exposed to.Some items like hydrocodone are not marked by birth defects but it may produce narcotic withdrawal at birth if continuously exposed.The prime site I look for drug exposure is the poop, which starts forming at 12 weeks and will retain evidence of exposure for 3 months or more. Testing would depend on what goes on at birth or CPS status
