Yes, but: Usually, ulcers are the most sore the first 3 or 4 days. They can last for as long as two weeks. HOWEVER a sore that doesn't hurt and is not healing, is a very big concern and needs to be seen ASAP.

Canker sores : Canker sores are the most common oral lesions. Individual ulcers typically last 1-2 weeks. The condition is idiopathic (cause is not known) recurrent aphthous ulcers is usually self-limiting. If concerned see your dentist after 10 days or visit today for laser immediate amelioration.
