There's some ?: most earlier studies really couldn't tie smoking with breast cancer, but some recent work looking at smoking's relationship with breast cancer found that smoking did alter some estrogen receptors in breast associated with accelerating the growth of cancer cells. Alcohol is more related, and the smoking addition to risk is quite modest, but appears there, at least in some kinds of breast cancer.
