A member asked:

Does myocardial infarction happen in arterial stenosis less than 70%? please, need some answers?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes but: Yes it's possible but not common. The mechanisms are superimposed coronary spasm or thrombosis that has partially dissolved at the time of study or supply/demand imbalance as occurs during surgery or in the presence of anemia. All of the above mechanisms have been demonstrated at various times.
