A member asked:

What happens if monocyte and lymphocytes also erythrocyte sedimentation rate are all high?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Paraproteinemia: The Sed Rate often goes up if there is inflammation somewhere in the body but it can also go up if lymphocytes are producing excessive protein (called immunoglobulin) . This is called a paraproteinemia. This might represent a blood disorder. I suggest you chat with your Doctor to see if this is a old vs a new finding. If new, then your doctor may want you to see a hematologist to clarify.
