Atropine drip: Can be given IV or occasional through the trachea if IV access is not available. HR and BP are monitored during the procedure. It is used to dry up secretions with general anesthesia, in the treatment of rapid heat rates, with organophosphate and mushroom poisoning. As far as I know it is not administered through the esophagus.
