Why does everyone cough while smoking pot with a vaporizing pen?

Other stuff in vapor: Nobody knows what volatilizing propylene glycol (which is the oil that most of these gadgets use) and making it into a vapor does when inhaled. In addition, there are other additives, flavorings, colorings, preservatives and God-knows-what-else in them, since they aren't required to either test or even list their ingredients.
