Move: Tsunamis only occur in coastal regions. Depending upon your fear of risk, you could move away from the coast if that is too fearful for you. A true tsunami is so powerful that there is nothing you can do to protect yourself except to be alert to warnings and quickly get to higher ground when there is a prediction of one. Look at the extensive damage of the recent japanese one - no place to hide.
