It all depends on...: What you mean by little constipation. If it resolves promptly with no recurrence, then you can certainly stop meds.

I tend to suffer from chronic constipation which I manage with docusate sodium (300 mg) and miralax (25.5 g) (under my GI). however I haven't gone in several days, can I combine bisacodyl usp (5 mg) safely with these two stool softeners this once?

Bloodwork normal, upper endo normal.Gi put me on reglan 5mg three times daily for a month to test for gastroparesis. No insurance, motility test too expensive. Is this dose safe? How quickly will TD set in if I am sensitive to this drug?
