Endoscopy: Many patients have gallstones that never cause symptoms.When they do it is generally AFTER meals. There can be many sources of upper abdominal pain Not associated with eating but the most common are gastroesophageal reflux and gastritis or duodenitis. These can be diagnosed with endoscopy. Gastroenterologists and general surgeons are the best to evaluate this.

Had ultrasound for gallbladder . results are numerous echogenic gallstones filling the bladder lumen .. wall is mildly thickened to 3.1 mm .. duct measures 3mm . I have pain in my upper stomach that is pretty constant .. could this be related ?
