What is the least restrictive physical restraint?

Depends: If patient is hospitalsied and pose the risk to itsself - as pull tubes, lines, fall.. than someitme physical restrain may be needed.It is last resort but necessary at times. Least restrictive is " 4 point " restrian whic s is soft restrain around wrist and ankles. " SOMA" bed is priotected with mesch preventing falls.Medication for anxiety and antipsychotic are sometimes used in conjucntion.
