Eustachian tube: It sounds like you had a middle ear infection. The Neomycin was most likely part of an ear drop solution. It actually takes about 3 weeks to completely eradicate the cause of this problem. You most likely still have some Eustachian tube swelling and you are aware of the popping sensation when you swallow. This is normal and if not better in 10 more days, consult your physician.
