To repair megaureter: Rare 4 54-year-old 2 undergo ureteral tapering, which is procedure to narrow ureter. Procedures include 1)imbrication where ureter is narrowed by tucking in strip of ureter placing sutures on either side of strip 2)folding long flap of ureter upon itself or 3)excising strip of ureter & suturing edges together making it narrower. Or ureter is reimplanted into bladder 4 reflux or excise obstruction
