Probably not..: It probably didn't fail, but likely isn't finished working. Even with the one time dose it can take up to one to two weeks for symptoms to completely disappear. During this time you should abstain from sex as you could still transmit it to your partner(s). Also keep in mind your sexual partner(s) will all need treatment as well, otherwise you will continue to pass it back and forth.
