Will 500mg of azithromycin cure chlamydia/ngu if exposure was from receiving fellatio yesterday? i have been treated before; have a few early symptoms

Chlamydia: The dose of azithromycin used to treat chlamydial infections is usually 1000 mg. A half dose of 500 mg may be effective in a person of smaller stature with a mild infection.

Not indicated dose: The recommended dose of Azithromycin for Chlamydia is 1000mg (1gm) x 1 dose, not 500mg. You should be tested for Chlamydia and other STis. I encourage you to use condoms or dental dams for oral sex to reduce your risk of STIs.
