A doctor has provided 1 answer

Time on medication?: In thyroid disease (even if mild or "low grade") it can take up to 6-8 weeks for glandular function to fully stabilize. It can take as long just to find the right dose of your medication per laboratory criteria since blood levels need to be tested depending on your symptoms. So, just hang in there if you've just started and stay in contact with your physician.
