Malpractice: As a person, there are hundreds and thousands of ways to examine you, by both direct and indirect means. In pregnancy, disasters can happen very rapidly. We also have far more limited tests to check on the fetus beyond images, blood gas, and heart beats. Medicine is not an exact science, and even less so in pregnancies.
