Correct…: Correct…Usually, the HCG level is expected to double about every 2 days. The HCG will shed a great deal more light on what’s going on. Ultrasound can’t usually see a gestational sac (early pregnancy) until the HCG level is about 2000 so an ultrasound is of no help. Good Luck.
