Had d&c jan 27. per blood test a week ago, i still have just under 2 hcg. hpt will show faint lines. why is this? will it go back to 0?

Not necessarily: HCG level below 5 is the baseline for a normal woman. It does not need to be zero. Hpt is not an appropriate test for this purpose.
