Gabapentin SEs: Sedation is a common side effect of gabapentin. Each person will be somewhat different in their sensitivity to this SE -- but it does occur. Some patients may adjust to the medication dose, and find sedation less problematic with time. Or perhaps taking most of the dose at bed would help. Contact your prescribing MD to arrive at the best solution for your particular case & be well! :)
