Chlamydia...: Next would be a course of azithromycin. However, if you are having upper genital tract symptoms that may indicate PID (pelvic inflammatory disease), inpatient treatment may be needed. Also absolutely need to rule out other causes such as gonorrhea for ongoing or recurrent symptoms. Finally, have ALL partners been checked and treated and rechecked? If not, you could be reinfected. Talk with OB/GYN!
