Not the best: Amoxicillin works best in upper respiratory infections. Plus if u have an old antibiotic laying around-not sure if this is the case? It can be expired-won't be effective and can change the bacterial symbiosis in u'r body over time-especially if people keep doing similar. This makes bacteria stronger and antibiotics won't work as well down the road. Short answer-please call u'r doc if u think UTI
