Infection: No joint should leak, after it heals from surgery. Persistent leakage or new leakage from any joint replacement should always be treated as an infection, until proved otherwise. Go see your surgeon asap! an infected joint replacement is a very difficult problem to treat and can lead to an amputation, if not properly treated.
