Baby Doctors: You have a child with a primary care medical problem. The ER would not be a wise choice for this but going to the baby's doctor would be. Primary care physicians, Pediatricians are very likely to know how to diagnose and manage skin conditions. The ER is for life threatening conditions. Please take this child to the appropriate doctor for evaluation.
