Depends: It depends what type of CT scan you had. Some scans may miss a brain aneurysm. Usually a CT scan with angiography will be able to unveil a brain aneurysm. Brain aneurysms are rare and an unlikely cause of headache.

Brain Aneurysms: Unless the aneurysm is very large a regular CT scan may miss it. MRI, MRA or angiogram are more sensitive tests. If you have a family history of aneurysms, have high blood pressure, age over 40, smoke cigarettes, use Cocaine or have known blood vessel abnormalities then you are at higher risk.
