Tetanus: Tetanus shots are recommended every 10yrs. However, I usually recommend getting one, with an injury, if it's been more than 5yrs. With the new recommendations to get a Tdap, (tetanus, diphtheria AND pertussis) it might be the perfect opportunity to protect you and unimmunized infants, from whooping cough. This replaces the old Td.
