A fallen palate?: A fallen palate means what sort of symptoms? Is the bony hard palate in the front appearing lower than it used to, years before? Is the soft palate in the back appearing lower? Is there snoring? Is there trouble swallowing? Please ask your question again, with some details added. Thanks!

It depends: It depends on what you mean be a fallen palate. As an oral surgeon, i've never heard of it. If by "fallen palate" you mean an unusually long or extended soft palate, that might cause snoring or even lead to obstructive sleep apnea. In these cases, either the palate can be trimmed by doing a uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (uppp) or stiffened by inserting 3 tiny pillar implants to control snoring.
